Mission Statement: To be leaders in delivering sustainable and imaginative architecture, through teamwork, trust and integrity in our practice
Tadhg Casey Architects Ltd was established in 2018 by Tadhg Casey MRIAI. The design ethos of the practice places a lot of value in being creative and delivering designs that each have personality and variety. We very much believe the simplicity of approach, no wastage, use of sustainable, local materials and empowerment of people.
In practice the work of Tadhg Casey Architects is varied – from refurbishments of traditional buildings, to new house designs inspired by traditional forms through to large residential schemes, school extensions and public buildings. Our interests in good residential design and place-making overlap with another passion of ours which is the well-being of smaller towns and villages in Ireland. We believe that the lessons of the vernacular buildings and towns can align with a new experience-led regeneration of Irish urban areas.
Tadhg Casey Architects are a signatory of Architects Declare. Architects Declare is a network of architectural practices committed to addressing the climate and biodiversity emergency.
Tadhg is originally from a dairy farm in North Kerry and spent many summers farming, working on building sites and also as a steel fabricator.
